They came back, with a vengeance!

First they closed the road. That's No 5 just above the road works triangle.

Then they extended the hole across the road. Our old sewer/ surface water pipe is by the shadow of my elbow.

Then, back by popular request, a panorama. From the tank the trench went across the road to link up with the new pipe work in Jacquie's garden opposite us. With a bit of imagination you can, when you enlarge this by clicking on it, see the workman in the trench about half way over the road.
